Private trips
A group of 7 or more people wanting to register for one of our scheduled trips to Latin America can request to have it be a private trip. Our trips are designed around groups and is a great way to save money on the total trip expenses. This only applies as long as no one else has booked that specific trip. Because of this we recommend booking the trip your interested in as soon as possible. We do adhere to a strict payment and cancellation policy for all private trips which you can view here.
Custom trips
All trips provided by Ride Local had to start somewhere, ours was from the desire to explore new places with our mountain bikes. We thoroughly enjoy helping create your ideal bike trip and connecting your friends and family to new parts of the world. Together we can build a custom itinerary built around the wants and needs for groups of 2-10 people. We’ll make your trip easy so you can go enjoy the trails with good company. Due to the logistics of custom international bike trips they must be booked at least 4 months in advance. Group sizes must be a minimum of 2 people, and a maximum of 10 people. Also, certain locations are only offered during specific months of the year. We adhere to a strict payment and cancellation policy which you can view here.
Ride Local has even more unique locations to ride for those seeking custom and private trips. Please email us at info@ridelocalmtb.com with any inquiries.
Chile
Pucon
One of our favorite towns for outdoor enthusiasts, Pucon has something for everyone. Ride off Volcan Villarica, go whitewater rafting, hike the volcano, swim at the lake, even heli-bike. Then dine at one of the many delicious restaurants and go soak in the hot springs after. The large network of trails descend right off the volcano and our top quality. Makes sense why Pucon almost hosted an Enduro World Series. Did we mention heli-biking? Yea we can go heli-biking off one of the nearby volcanos. You’ll visit here for a week and wish you could stay for another.
Nevados De Chillan and Las Trancas
Nick named the Whistler of South America, Nevados De Chillan’s bike park is no joke. 20 miles of fast dusty lift served trails are littered with jumps and features. The backcountry trails off the bike park are even better, and were raced in the 2014 Enduro World Series. The town below the bike park, Las Trancas, has great options for lodging and food. Along with a growing network of trails.
Santiago Area
The capital city of Chile has a large mountain bike community with multiple bike parks in the area. Nearby ski areas La Parva, Valle Nevado, El Colorado and Farellones serve huge descents on the famous “anti-grip.” Ride Local has access to a selection of awesome cabins in the town of Farellones, as your base for riding in the Chilean Andes.
Patagonia
Pack your gear, let’s head way down south to the end of the America’s. Mountain biking in Patagonia is a once in a lifetime experience. The riding is so good not just because of the trails, but because of the views. We are privileged to offer trips to this incredible area of the world.

The geography of Quito makes it one of our favorite big cities to ride bikes in. Sandwiched between two mountain ranges you have endless amount of terrain to explore. Oaxaca
A top riding destination in Mexico. Oaxaca attracts many gravity fueled riders due to the vast amount of big descents around here.
